A Brief Biography
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Roger Rossi came from a family of talented musicians. His brother was a professional pianist, and his father studied violin at the Royal Conservatory of Bellini, Palermo, Sicily, and performed on the great stages of Italy including Teatro Massimo, where he was Concert Master. In the USA he traveled for years with legendary jazz violinist Joe Venuti; and Kate Smith ("God Bless America")
Roger has performed pop, jazz, rock, big band, Broadway, and Dixieland music throughout New England, Canada, Upstate New York, New York City, and Long Island, NY, and since 1972, in Florida.
